Changes in the Works as WSU Prepares for the Future
- Five new construction projects are in the works for the Ogden
Campus over the next two years, highlighted by a new Humanities
Building to replace aging and ailing Buildings 1 & 2.
- Weber State University student Michael Malmrose, a
senior majoring in physics in the College of Science, recently
announced the likely discovery of a previously unknown star
using a new planet-hunting method developed at the university.
National Business Leader to Speak at WSU -
Laura D'Andrea Tyson, a former national economic adviser to the
White House, will be the speaker at the inaugural Vernon M. and
MaRee Buehler Leadership Lecture March 29 at 11:30 a.m. in the
Austad Auditorium, Val A. Browning Center.
"Tuesdays
with Morrie" Author Mitch Albom to Speak at WSU - Award-winning author
and journalist
Mitch Albom, will speak at Weber State University March 28 at
noon in the Val A. Browning Center Austad Auditorium.
WSU C-
Weber State University will hold several events April 10-12
commemorating the Holocaust, including a presentation from
Holocaust survivor Irene Catz.
