Big Changes in the Works as WSU Prepares for the Future - Five new construction projects are in the works for the Ogden Campus over the next two years, highlighted by a new Humanities Building to replace aging and ailing Buildings 1 & 2.

WSU Student Discovers Previously Unknown Star - Weber State University student Michael Malmrose, a senior majoring in physics in the College of Science, recently announced the likely discovery of a previously unknown star using a new planet-hunting method developed at the university.

National Business Leader to Speak at WSU - Laura D'Andrea Tyson, a former national economic adviser to the White House, will be the speaker at the inaugural Vernon M. and MaRee Buehler Leadership Lecture March 29 at 11:30 a.m. in the Austad Auditorium, Val A. Browning Center.

"Tuesdays with Morrie" Author Mitch Albom to Speak at WSU - Award-winning author and journalist Mitch Albom, will speak at Weber State University March 28 at noon in the Val A. Browning Center Austad Auditorium.

WSU Commemorates the Holocaust with Campus Events - Weber State University will hold several events April 10-12 commemorating the Holocaust, including a presentation from Holocaust survivor Irene Catz.

WSU/Jr. Cats Easter Egg Hunt - Join Waldo in an egg hunt Saturday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m. at the WSU Davis Campus (2750 N. University Park Blvd., Layton).  This free event will feature an Easter egg hunt, food, prizes, and a free showing of "Charlotte's Web".  All are welcome!

Classes Without Quizzes - The WSU Emeriti Alumni Council presents Chick Hislop, retired WSU Cross Country and Track & Field head coach.  This special presentation will be held free to the public Wednesday, April 4 at 6:30 pm at the Lindquist Alumni Center.  To reserve a seat, call (801) 626-7535.
