Holocaust Commemoration

Organizers of Weber State
University’s 2008 Holocaust Commemoration have planned a
series of presentations and discussions examining how art
reflects, depicts and draws attention to the atrocities of
genocide. There will be presentations held on April 7 and 9.

Ethics: Gone
to Extinction?
The Institute for Politics,
Decency and Ethical Conduct will host a panel
discussion on the intersection of business, politics
and ethical behavior on April 9, at 6 p.m. in the Weber
State University Davis Barnes Banking Co. Lecture

Native American
Symposium, Powwow Coming to WSU
Weber State University will host the third
annual Native American Symposium and the 37th Annual Contest
Powwow as part of Native American Emphasis Week on April 7-12.

American Cancer Society
Relay for
Life® on April 18-19.
This is an all night
walk to save lives, help those touched by cancer,
and empower people to fight this disease all over
the world.
Physics Department to Host Open House for All Ages
WSU’s Department of Physics will host the second
annual Physics Open House, April 18 from 6-10 p.m.
in Lind Lecture Hall. The event, which is free and
open to all ages, will feature presentations and
demonstrations conducted by WSU physics professors.

Climbing Festival
WSU’s Wilderness Recreation Center in partnership with
Canyon Sports will host the first annual Climbing Festival
beginning Friday, April 11, at 9 a.m.
The event will be held at Weber Rocks and Ogden’s Boulder
Field. Mandatory pre-registration is required. The event is

Track and Field Meet
Weber
State will host the first of two outdoor track and
field meets Saturday, April 12 at Stewart Stadium
when the 'Cats host the Javier's Wildcat Open. The
meet is free to the public and will provide an
opportunity to watch the Wildcats compete at home. Both
the men's and women's teams were picked to win the
Big Sky title so come out and cheer on the Wildcat

Purple and White Spring Football Game
Come
watch the Wildcats as they conclude spring practice
with the Annual Purple and White Spring Football
game on Saturday, April 19 at
1:00 p.m. Come early to the stadium for Chalk Talk with Coach Ron McBride
starting at 12:30 p.m. The event is free to the public
so come out and watch the 'Cats as they prepare for
