Current and Former Elected Officials to Discuss Political Decency at WSU Symposium

Weber State University’s Institute for Politics, Decency and Ethical Conduct will present the symposium “Decency in the Political Arena: Is it Really the Exception and Not the Rule?” on Dec. 7. The event is free to the public and will be held on the fourth floor of the Stewart Stadium Sky Suites on WSU’s Ogden campus. Click here for more.


WSU to Host Former Member of the Byrds

Roger McGuinn, a former guitarist and vocalist for the 1960s band the Byrds, will speak at Weber State University on Dec. 6 at noon in the Shepherd Union Ballroom. Click here for more.

Santa would like to invite all of the Weber State Jr. 'Cats and public to come and skate with him on Saturday, December 1st at the Ice Sheet. The hours are from 3:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.  There will be a small charge for skate rental of $2.00.

If your child is between the ages of 4 - 12 and you would like them to be a member of Jr. 'Cats, click here.

Jr. 'Cats and the public are welcome to participate in the children's activities at The Old World Christmas Market located at Union Station in downtown Ogden. There are a variety of events scheduled throughout the month of December and on Saturday, December 8 we will be hosting the Weber State Jr. 'Cats between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

7th Annual WSU Alumni Golf Classic

WSU Alumni Association will sponsor an event that raises thousands of dollars for “Scholarships for Students” to achieve their educational goals. Caps and Gown

Caps and gowns will be available for you to pick up at the Lindquist Alumni Center, Wednesday and Thursday, December 12-13, 2007, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Alumni Center is located just west of Promontory Tower.  Park in the lot east of the Alumni Center while you pick up your cap and gown. Christmas Tree Jubilee

The Purple Pak designed a Weber State "Wildcat Victory Tree" that was donated to the Christmas Tree Jubilee. This service project supports the special needs of children from Weber County.

The Purple Pak tree was decorated with purple and white lights, purple ornaments and miscellaneous decorations. The highlignt of the tree were many handmade ornament pictures of our Men's/Women's Basketball team and Wildcat Football starters. Click here to join the Purple Pak fun!
