Dixon Awards Nominations – Is there a WSU faculty
or staff member who has been influential in your life?
Nominate them for the prestigious H. Aldous Dixon Awards,
which include a cash stipend.
Deadline for submissions is Friday, January 19th.
Moot Court Team Wins First Regional Championship- A
Weber State University moot court team recently won the American
Collegiate Moot Court Association (ACMA) Western Regional
Championship Tournament at Long Beach, Calif.
- Weber
State University's track, located inside Stewart Stadium, will
be renamed in honor of recently retired track and field coach
Charles “Chick” Hislop. Hislop retired in December 2006
after 38 seasons at WSU.
USTAR Technology Innovation Center to be Located at WSU
- Weber State University has been selected as the site for a
Technology Innovation Center that will support the Utah Science,
Technology and Research (USTAR) initiative.
- Curt Roberts, a vice
president for Nike and an alumnus of Weber State University, has
been selected to serve as vice provost for Innovation & Economic
Development at the university. |
