Dumke College of Health Professions Unveils New Simulation Lab - The Dumke Interdisciplinary Simulation Lab at Weber State University features two manikins, a man and a baby, which can be used by faculty and students to practice diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Research on Light Therapy and Military Personnel Leads to Capitol Hill - For the third year in a row, an undergraduate researcher at Weber State University represented the state of Utah on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Kristena Kons will present her research on light therapy and its effectiveness in helping military shift workers reduce fatigue, which can help decrease errors made on the job.

Marriott Foundation Pledges $2 Million for First-Generation Student Scholarships - The scholarship criteria reflect many of the circumstances J. Willard Marriott, Sr. faced as a student at Weber College in the early 20th century.

WSU 2007 Graduation

WSU's 129th Commencement will be held Thursday, May 3 @ 6:00 p.m. at the Dee Events Center. For a list of college convocations, click here.  Caps and gowns will be distributed at the Alumni Center Tuesday - Thursday, May 1-3 from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

WSU Senior Sets New Record
Weber State senior Lindsey Anderson set a new NCAA record on Sunday, April 29 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. Setting the mark with a time of 9:39.95, she made the fastest time in NCAA history and broke the old mark by more than three seconds. Click here for the full story.

Offense ruled the air and defense ruled the ground in the Weber State University annual Purple-White Spring Intra-Squad game at Stewart Stadium.

Monday, May 14: Join the WSU Alumni Singers as they reprise Broadway's biggest hits. "Bravo Broadway!" Peery's Egyptian Theatre, 7:30 p.m., $2.00.
