Prepared for Emergency Situations WSU chair of the Emergency Care and Rescue department and assistant professor, Jeff Grunow and Sally Cantwell, assistant nursing professor, have designed a simulation exercise to help health profession students in emergency situations. "To the best of our knowledge, this is the first exercise of its kind in the United States," Grunow said. Read more
Bleak Future for Great Salt Lake WSU geography professor Daniel Bedford, wonders what will happen to the Great Salt Lake if something doesn't change. He believes that the Great Salt Lake could become "an icon of 21st century American water problems in the same way that the Aral Sea became an icon of global water problems in the twentieth century."
